Very painful epidural injection. He just kind of powered through. No empathy.
Dr Plastaras is an amazing physician & person. I have never had an appointment with him that he was not concerned about how everything was going in my life, not just my spine. There are very few doctors that take the time to do this with patients, I appreciated that total person care. The pain issues with my spine are taken seriously, options are offered and we discuss the options as a team & outcomes are always 100% positive. Dr. Plastaras is the best I could ask for.
Dr. Plastaras is a phenomenal physician. He is knowledgeable in many aspects of medicine, not just in his specialty. He treats the entire person not just their spine as a separate entity, he looks into the physical as well as what’s occurring in his patient’s life. I trust him 100% & am thankful I have him as my doctor.
Dr Plastaras is one of the most compassionate and skilled physicians I have ever met. I was referred to him by another extremely grateful patient when I was suffering from a pinched nerve in my neck that other doctors had been unable to treat. I have since referred many of my own patients, family and friends to Dr Plastaras, and everyone has been exceptionally satisfied. Just wish there were more physicians like him.
This review is for Dr. Plastaras not his fellows. He is a wonderful doctor. He listened to me and restored my faith in the system and the possibility of an accurate diagnosis and getting better. He knowlegdeable and supportive and he cares.
No compassion at all. One of those "cowboy" docs who just sees a body part to work on—not a person. During an excruciating!!! spinal injection, which I had to stop, he asked if he could go on. More pain, didn’t care that I was crying from the trauma. No comment from him or OR staff. PTSD ensued.
This "doctor" has an over inflated ego and zero compassion for his patients. When I asked to be referred to a surgeon, he told me "I'll refer you to someone who has been in practice for 30 years, but if he doesn't think your case is bad enough, he doesn't need your business" Dr. Plastaras treated me as though I am uneducated and not in pain when I've had an injury for 11 years and consulted numerous spine specialists. Dr. Plastaras treated me like a client, not a patient. Don't waste your time
Dr Plastaras and his staff, including Fellows, have gone above and beyond to locate and identify the source of, and treat my pain. I would recommend Dr Plastaras to anyone experiencing spine or skeletal related pain.
Condescending and entitled
