What a charlatan. He took large amounts of money from me knowing that he couldn't truly help me. I ended up getting a four part operation by a legitimate doctor, and only then was I helped. I should have known by his wacky answers about "millions and billions of stem cells that will keep reproducing and cure everything, etc." He takes advantage of desperate people, like me, who go along with his nonsense, hoping for a miracle cure.
The process with Dr Calipari in my opinion was both deceptive and seemed to be geared toward taking in dollars to even have a discussion about a possible solution to a pain issue. If you are reading this , I would not even consider using a doctor who is not transparent about fees. It that lacks transparency , it leads me to question both his integrity and frankly skill set.
Do your research to find a good integrative medicine dr. Do not waste your time & money on Dr. Calapai. When I saw him several yrs ago for my chronic and painful R.A. I did the stem cell therapy and paid him $10k and it did absolutely nothing for me. His procedure is not done properly. He simply injected my stem cells into my arm. This is not the correct procedure for administering stem cells. Dr. Calapai is very arrogant, unprofessional, dishonest and money hungry. He's doesn't listen and he's downright rude.
I went to see Dr. Calapei after two shoulder surgeons told me they could not help me and that a shoulder operation would leave me in worse condition. So I figured why not try stem cells? A friend of mine told me he had wonderful results from stem cell treatment from Dr. Calapei. But an MRI showed that I had a 3.5 cm rotator cuff tear and I think any doctor should’ve known that stem cells could not possibly correct that. I began with Dr Calapai in June of 2016. He found I was diabetic by blood sugar readings and that of the A1C, which was 7.2 at the time. He began the course of treatment by having me eliminate carbs and sugars from my diet, increase daily activity through walking half hour a day and having me build up lean muscle tissue through weight training. I saw Dr Calapei years ago but I still remember how bad the experience was (not for him, though, because he made a lot of money on me) He prescribes supplements - which he just happens to sell - and expensive Vitamin drips, but nothing changes. Lucky for him that he has a radio shoe - that's how he gets his clients. Huge ego, little compassion
Many informative tests. But false diagnoses, expensive treatments and no results.
Seeing Dr. Calapai was a complete waste of time. Been dealing with fatigue from chronic anxiety. He barely listened to me the entire appointment. Said my daily physical fatigue from stress was not from stress, but was due to Epstein-Barr (mono) from 6 years ago. Never have I ever experienced symptoms of mono in my life.
