I went to him a couple of years ago to talk to a doctor about getting a hysterectomy and possibly another procedure at the same time. He pretty much laughed and told me lots of women have endometriosis. Also told me my past medical records didn’t really matter. Pretty much made me feel small and he didn’t care attitude. Fast forward to now I’m fighting stage 2 ovarian cancer because of the endometriosis. He’s not a good doctor in my book.
Dr. Baldwin is an amazing surgeon. Truly amazing! He helped with my emergency cesarean. Having lots of family in the medical field, I showed them the incision. They said it was the best that they had ever seen. My sister worked in Springfield labor and delivery and saw plenty of C-sections. She was impressed... Not only can you barely see it but it is healing flawlessly. He was also there on call to help preform the surgery. I felt cared for and in good hands at such a vulnerable time. I see a lot of bad reviews on here from a lot of people who don’t understand what it’s like to be a doctor. Leaving a bad review because he went on vacation?? Like he’s not entitled to vacation from being at his office or literally available 24/7 to deliver babies. Another doctor is available they didn’t leave you high and dry. Writing a bad review because a friend called you crying? Dr. Baldwin doesn’t sugar coat things he’s gonna tell you the truth not what you want to hear. My daughter went in because she can fill two knots in her stomach after having an IUD removal in February. He never felt her stomach just told her that it happens to woman all the time and asked her why she wasn't currently taking birth control. He said well I could order a bunch of test and waste our time but I wont because this is normal. She asked if he could check her thyroid as well (family history) and he said no there is no need to. One of the best. He is one of the reasons I still use TCMH services. He is a very intelligent and well researched physician. Dr. Baldwin stays up-to-date on all new medicines, procedures, and insurance rules and regulations. I have gone to him for years and he has always treated me with respect as a patient and given me the best care possible.
