I have been seeing Dr. McCuen for over 18 yrs, driving from Raleigh to Greensboro for 16 of those years, after I moved away. She is the most caring doctor I could ever hope to have. Just as important, she has proven her competence to me. She recently saw something on a screening and referred me to a retina specialist. After examining me, the retina specialist in Raleigh complimented Dr. McCuen by saying, "You have a very astute ophthalmologist--she caught this problem very early, while it is treatable..."
