We are so fortunate to have Dr Shugart in our small town. She is the absolute best pcp my husband and I have ever had. She listens to us and never rushes our appointment. She is so knowledgeable and compassionate. We have 100% trust and confidence in her. I pray she never leaves our area, but if she does we will surely follow her.

She & other Novant collegues put in other medical conditions, test results, & meds that I either never took or happened. They added family members to my patient history that never existed. Another Novant facility did these similar actions 4 years ago & a clinic out of State that I had been to caught it & corrected it on their end. & when we came back to Novant 2 years ago their mistakes were still waiting for me. They tried to blame me for their mistakes & had to fight them to correct it..
