I was encouraged to go to the hospital by an Ontario TeleHealth nurse as my symptoms were escalating. I was experiencing tremors and pain in my shoulders. My family dr is unreachable to get examined. So I followed the advice from Telehealth Ontario. Dr Ly was the Dr who examined me in the ER. After Dr Ly examined me, she berated me for “wasting her 36min to examine me” and told me to go home and take Tylenol for pain.
She is a kind and engaged doctor who takes excellent care! Great staff who also make sure you feel comfortable and cared for. During her absence, the new doctor is rated excellent as well!
I had a very negative experience with this doctor, and I have always had such nice and caring doctors in the U.S. I have never had a single issue with a medical professional, as I am very non confrontational. This physician is dismissive, has acold and clinical bedside manner. If you’re young and seem okay she will write off your symptoms and experiences. She seemingly has no empathy for her patients.
