Been a patient for 20 years at intermed, Dr. Gates knows well I can’t physically drive I live alone and getting to appointments is very challenging for me due to my back injury. Without notice, they discharged me for missing appointments. She won’t speak to me and Intermed employees tell me it’s her decision. She is literally discharging me over missing appointments and I have been a patient for 20 years. Dr.Gates is everything I want in a physician. She is kind, down to earth, completely knowledgeable, caring, thorough, understanding, easy to talk to about anything. And I just adore her! She is truthfully the only doctor that I have ever truly felt comfortable with. I thank my lucky stars that I found her and will keep her for as long as she can stand me!! Thank you, Dr. Gates, for your care.
Don’t expect Dr. Gates to fulfill your needs as a patient whatsoever. I have been overlooked as a patient numerous times with medical concerns and other general needs that is the bare minimum for a doctor to fulfill. I’d highly recommend picking someone else.
