I experienced a significant lack of informed consent. Post cataract surgery my vision is not good.
Dr. Watts is amazing. He literally worked me in after a long day of surgery to make sure my eye was ok. After seeing an optometrist I wanted a second opinion and his diagnosis was 100% accurate from the beginning. He was confident but still did all of the testing to rule out any other more serious issues to reassure me. He was more than willing to take my call if needed after hours and see me the next day if anything changed after I left my appointment with him. Dr. Watts is great. Personal and professional. He has done both my cataracts and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Dr. Watts for giving me my vision back! And personally - I like the financial information up front.
Before I even saw the doctor I received pages of financial information requested. They said they also charge extra for refractions and more that insurance doesn't pay. I have always had everything covered by insurance before at my prior dr. I was wanting to establish care since I moved back to IC. Will look elsewhere because the health of my eyes is my MAIN concern and his was financial gain obviously. What a shame!
Very knowledgable, friendly in his care. He explained things well to my mom and would recommend him for all eye services.
