Dr opella ,I told him about pain I was having in my hands, I showed him what my fingers did when I held a coffee cup, I told him about pain in my legs and arms and never referred me to nobody, when I went to Charleston pulmonary, the Dr I saw his boss ,Dr Rahul Gupta Argula noticed I was loosing muscles and I told him about my pain, he referred me to a few different doctors, he said he care about me,a pulmonary Dr had to refer me in order to get help SMH, this was in 2022, also I told him I need a colonospy done that year ne... read more

Not sure why he would get negative reviews at all. He legit saved my life. I was having IBS pains from supplements a holistic doctor gave me. Dr Opella was the only one to say stop using so many supplements and my pains went away. I was scared I had IBS forever. He’s also very good at bedside manner for my anxiety (which yes I do have even before I saw him) he’s helping me with anemia as well: he always spends time To listen. Thank you!
This office is not very professional or respectful to patients at all. My daughter has been going there for her issues and all they do is refer her to specialists who can't find anything wrong with her. My daughter knows her body and there is something wrong with her. But all Dr. Opella keeps coming back with is anxiety and psychotic. Well, not everyone has anxiety or is psychotic. Maybe if you examine the patient you might find what is wrong with her.
