Excellent surgeon, treated me with dignity and answered all my questions. I think some people confuse rudeness with stating facts and clarity. I have my quality of life back, what more could anyone ask?
Possibly the worst Doctor in Pres network and in my opinion should not have a job much less a license. Horrible bedside manner up to the point of starting an argument with me before surgery. Rolled her eyes at me after I asked a question and when I asked she stated she had something in her eye. After two botched surgeries and a waste of a year and a half UNM finally did what she was unable to do...do not waste your time or energy or let your family close to this woman.
Dr Sam is a wonderful Doctor and human being, I was diagnosed with Colon cancer Jan of 2024, met her in Feb of that year and had to have 3 surgeries after that. She kept me alive and I appreciate her everyday. Her staff is also just as great, Carina is an amazing nurse and so thoughtful.
