Do yourself a favor & find a better neuro. At first visit, Dr. Du seemed friendly and down to earth. But then I suffered a flare up and I called his office numerous times requesting for the doctor to call me and/or to accommodate an earlier appt. Not only did he not bother to follow up for TWO WEEKS (at which time he told his MA to tell me to go to the ED which I did), when I finally saw him 1.5 months later at a scheduled appt, he was dismissive, said "well you are fine now right?". Very sweet man! Listens to his patients and cares! Always looking for solutions! NO HE DOESN'T PRESCRIBE NARCOTICS. Has a huge sign in his room. But he is amazing and finds solutions and other alternatives.
My OBGYN referred me to Dr. Du because of daily migraines during pregnancy. When he walked into the room he verified that I was pregnant and said, "I cannot help you. Why did they send you here?" He stated this before he even sat down and asked about my symptoms.
i met with dr du and brought my mother in. all he was concerned about was getting to the medicare questions at the end of the visit so he could mark down all stars. he didnt visit with me, listen to me, nor did he give a quack about my mom. he is a waste of time and money. he had prescribed her bunch of medications, of which i have had 3 other doctors since tell me she should never have been on them in the first place.
Dr. Du was very good at putting you at ease in stressful situation. He answered my questions. He doesn't make you feel he is in a hurry like some dr.s His office staff is great.
My mother had Lewy Body Dementia. He addressed leg weakness but repeatedly ignored our concerns of her hallucinations, delusions, paronoia. We had to get a possible diagnosis from her new primary phycisian. He was a waste of time and money. Would not recommend for LBD concerns.
Dr Du is both personable and very intellectual. I suffered for 10 years. He was able to figure out what was wrong with me. Highly recommend.
