I made an appointment for two of my front teeth. One is cracked and one has a broken part to it. As my teeth were being cleaned, the receptionist stated, Dr needs to get to the bank before it closes. Dr IIawan walked in, looked at my bottom row, said one needed a crown, got up and walked out! He did not take two minutes to look at my teeth and ask for any of my concerns!!! He did a crown for me years back and it broke within a couple months! I will not be going back to him! HORRIBLE!!
I had 2 appointments with Dr Ilawan for routine cleaning and was charged over $450 even though I have insurance, however, had I known they didn't take my insurance I would not have scheduled a 2nd appointment. Was not happy because after leaving several messages with no call back my account was sent to collections. Very dishonest group there.
This guy did two large bridges for me. The first one broke almost immediately upon completion. I returned and he blamed me grinding my teeth and tried to sell me a mouth guard. (I have never grinded my teeth in my life.) At this point he tells me I'm too hard on my teeth and he would need to do stainless steel bridges. I got over the cosmetic aspect of having a mouth full of metal as a trade off to be able to chew again and paid additional money for the stainless bridge as well as a stainless bridge on the other side.
