Incredible person, doctor and surgeon. Caring and compassionate which is sometime a difficult mix with surgeons. I would highly recommend to anyone in need of his specialty.
Dr. Vining was a godsend for us. He performed the resection operation for my wife's extrahepatic bile duct cancer, and the outcome was excellent—clearly a very knowledgeable, competent and talented surgeon. More than that, he "gets" people and cares. We are extremely grateful.
Dr. Vining is an excellent surgeon. He helped my husband get his life back. He is also very empathetic and compassionate. He spends time with his patients and ensures that they feel heard and understood. We will be forever grateful for Dr. Vining.
Dr. Vining is absolutely the best without exception. I had robotic Whipple surgery with him and it was a phenomenal experience with great outcomes despite the fact that it was a very long and quite complicated surgery. I went home after 4 days in the hospital. I have every confidence recommending him as a surgeon. He is extremely well educated, articulate, compassionate, knowledgeable, and talented.
