Dr. Crinnian is an outstanding AME and consultant. He gave me advice regarding reapplying for a first-class medical certificate after it had been denied by the FAA. As both a pilot and medical doctor, he's highly knowledgeable about both aviation and the medical field. You can tell that he really enjoys promoting safety in aviation. Combined all this with his friendliness and I'd recommend him to any existing or aspiring pilot in an instant.
