Doctor Mateer at L.I. Orthodontics is the best doctor we have ever met across all medical practices. He is professional, compassionate, kind, very knowledgeable, poised and empathetic. He has a great sense of humor and cares about each of his patients. He certainly fits the level of Best Doctor in New York or even at a broader spectrum. He is probably the ONLY doctor who does not have $ signs in his face as the main goal for the practice. We hope Doctor Mateer never changes.

My 8 year old was very nervous going into her appointment. The staff did an excellent job of calming her down. They were so quick that I didn't even have time to look at a magazine! Thank you!
My teeth cleaning went well. I liked the work done with the least amount of pain. The whole staff was very helpful and I liked that I could get in early.

I had a filling done with no Novocain and it was great! My hygienist was terrific and the DDS was very gentle! It was a great first filling experience!
Dr. Frankel I just thought you should know that you have a wonderful staff. I first met Angie on the phone when I called for my first appointment; she was so friendly and accommodating. Then when I came in for my first visit I was greeted immediately and Angie made a point to walk over and introduce her. I then saw Natalie who was just as sweet. My last visit was AWSOME! It was Painless, and Quick. The staff was very professional. I refer Dr. Frankel to everyone I know. He is the best!
