My mom came to the emergency room at St. John's Hospital with tightness in her chest to find out that she needed a triple bypass surgery. With St. John's being a smaller hospital, we did not feel comfortable with her having a major surgery there, and wanted to get a second opinion elsewhere (every patient's right).
