Routine colonoscopy due to family history. Dr Morrison explained the procedure pre-op, answered questions, and went over results post op. My case was really simple so we discussed the results and that was it. Procedure was at Lutheran - very happy with care of the nurses and staff as well. I felt I was mislead in the first visit. I only asked a question for his professional opinion then he said there isn't any reason to do a colonoscopy but since I am at that age they would do it. I said in the beginning I don't know. So, I believed it to be a preventative. Day of procedure I asked to be sure then he stated I came to him with symptoms which I did NO such thing. This Doctor was arrogant and careless. This doctor was only to ASSIST in removing a ovarian cyst. Without permission he removed a foot of my colon, punctured my healthy spleen causing it to be removed. When specifically told not to attach a colostomy bag to me I awoke from surgery to find one attached to me. Things got worse and found that A Second emergency surgery had to be performed due to finding a 2 mm hole in my stomach from his butcher job.
