The one star is for the rude staff and nurse. Like others who shared that Dr. Ahner is kind and knowledgeable, I agree and share that same experience. It actually saddens me to decide to not return as I like and respect him as medical professional. However, the office staff and nurse are unbearably rude and unkind. In my initial appointment, Dr. Ahner had agreed to continue a prescription from a prior doctor. That prior doctor went to concierge, which is why I was getting established with Dr. Ahner. Good Doctor, Staff not so professional or warm. Not congruent with the service offer.
Amazing doctor--listens, cares, takes time to evaluate the whole person not just the symptoms. Dr. Ahner is truly THE BEST! I almost don't want to recommend him because his office is getting so busy, but I have to share him with the world. What a gift he is! (By the way, I rarely write reviews. Had to do it for Dr. Ahner. Can't believe anyone rated him less than 5 stars.)
I found Dr. Ahner knowledgeable and kind. However his nurse Sunni is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Spent a disgusting amount of time commenting on my weight and size in comparison to herself whilst at my visit, made me extremely uncomfortable. While calling to ask about my prescription after leaving my unanswered message for 4 days was told to "start over" because she had not been focused on my call and had been doing something else. Dr. Ahner took almost an entire hour with me in my new patient appointment today. He went over my history in great detail. He's the perfect "conductor" to the symphony of specialists I have seen all my my life! He's brilliant and incredibly personable.
