No one should be going to Dr. Parent. Nor should he be a doctor. I do not recommend ANYONE go here. My grandfather had Prostate Cancer and for 4-5 years Dr. Parent NEVER TOLD HIM. my grandfather passed a year 1/2 later because Dr. Parent DID NOT DO HIS JOB and protect him patients. Beyond ashamed with that Doctor. He should never have the opportunity to be a doctor again.

Dr Parent follows a more relaxed pattern with his patients. He will sit down and talk with you before his examination. Another very impressive thing is that he doesn't just arbitrarily prescribe medication without making a determination of the suitability for the patient.

Dr Parent and his staff have been caring for me since 2006. Their approach to healthcare always put the patient’s needs first and foremost. The staff is extremely pleasant and Dr Parent has a personable ‘bedside manner.’ You never feel rushed as Dr Parent listens to the patient’s concerns and ask questions to better diagnose their symptoms, problems, etc., so he may better provide a wellness program catered to each patient. I moved from Kennebunk in late-2018, but continue to use him as my Primary Care Provider.

You will not find a better doctor in the state of Maine. I have been through so many doctors, many of them who practice conveyor belt medicine, who have terrible bedside manor and who I have seen use Wikipedia in front of me (versus say the government website of information on diseases) for diagnosis (this is no joke) and I have been continually misdiagnosed. I love this office. Dr. P takes all the time you need to discuss issues, the office staff is wonderful. My only complaint is that they are often closed when I try to call and the menu tells you to press 1 for scheduling but it is just a busy signal. Please get a real answering service :-)
