My mother is a patient of Dr. Yan and was in the hospital. Due to living an hour away, I was unable to be at the hospital at the exact time she briefly visited my mother due to tremor meds and neurological testing she did on my mother in the hospital. Would not give me a follow up phone call or meeting on anything about her meds or the testing results. Mind you, my mother has memory issues and I am listed on her HIPPA. Very unprofessional and evidently her time is way more valuable than mine.
My brother, who is a Parkinson's patient of Dr Yan's has been trying to see her for MONTHS due to acceleration of severe symptoms . He has had an appointment the end of this month, but has suffered greatly while being made to wait. Now, because he has suffered needlessly in CHC in Lisbon, he is in E Liverpool hospital. My other brother and I are beyond frustration over such neglect ! What a poor excuse for a doctor !
If you are really sick do not choose this Dr. She has to many patients. Not enough time or want to make you well. You are just a patient slot on a schedule. She has no clue who you are or why you are even there. Awful experience.
Got treatment for headaches. She was very informative about my condition and explained her reasoning behind her chosen treatment well. I feel she listened to my concerns and helped me understand my health better.
As a neurologist working with an MS patient, she is far too hands off and willing to farm out medications that deal with MS side effects to other physicians. She also has a strict 10 minute window for late appointments, however I've never had to wait less than 60 minutes to see her. Usually it's an hour and a half.
THIS IS THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Mother was a patient of hers. i went to every appointment with her. This doctor never once made physical contact with this patient. all she did was throw her on meds and over a years span just continued to raise dosage and not care to treat the problem.. also, good luck understanding her. Her english is terrible! I would never recommend this doctor!!!
One of the best most knowledgeable and helpful doctors I ever seen. She will find answers for problems that you are experiencing. And makes sure you fully understand test procedures. And diagnosis Doctor yans staff is just as wonderful
Great everything went smoothly and she completely cured my headaches. Furthermore she was very caring and nice and truly put a lot of hard work into my case
Did a nerve biopsy; leg is still numb there (no feelingin it) for over a year. Took a skin sample near my ankle and told me to take bandage off in 6 to 10 hours and when I did, she had hit an artery and I spurted blood for an hour. Took compression and ice to get it to stop. Butterflies applied; stitch considered.
