I called to set up a new patient appointment, and the receptionist couldn’t, or shouldI say wouldn’t, tell me whether or not they took my insurance. I read from my insurance card exactly what type it was, and she said that she didn’t know, and I need to call my insurance provider to see if they’re on my list! What?! Finding out this type of information is the JOB of the receptionist! She’s getting paid to do this type of work! She’s SUPPOSED to be the professional, NOT the PATIENT! What a lazy person!
