I was referred to Dr kundavaram during my cancer treatment as the tumor was blocking my uterer. That experience was good. Nothing to rave about but when I recently had to be referred back to him about a new issue I was like ok. Well I have to say my experience was not great. I was given an appointment time of 10:15. I’ve been under Dr. Kundavaram’s care for the past two and a half years as we monitored a tumor on my right kidney, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about him. From day one, he made me feel calm and informed even during one of the scariest situations I’ve ever faced. He’s incredibly busy (for good reason), but he never made me feel rushed. I have been a patient of Dr Kundavaram for the last year. Although he is a competent doctor, he spends very little time with his patients. In fact, you only really get to see him once unless you are having surgery, otherwise you see one of his PA’s for all pre-op/follow-up appointments. His surgery scheduler is the absolute worst. She doesn’t return phone calls and is quite rude when you do get her on the phone. Her attitude doesn’t support patient comfort at all. Be prepared to wait 6-7 weeks before she calls you to schedul... read more
