In the middle of July I called Dr. Matar's office to make a first appointment for myself, and they gave me August 4th 3PM but when I went there they told me you don't have an appointment today, and that your appointment is on September 4th at 3 PM. So I went on September 4th 2:45 PM and the doctor saw me at 4 PM. after waiting almost 45 day for this appointment, the doctor came in late for me. What a wonderful Doctor! Patient,caring and very professional. Spent plenty of time listening to my concern and answering questions - never felt rushed. I highly recomend her.
Dr. Matar is a compassionate provider who seems to genuinely care. She takes the time to listen and treats in a manner that puts the patient first. I feel well taken care of with Dr. Matar as my primary physician.

Dr. Matar is a very caring, patient and kind physician. She was kind enough to spend time with me and answer my questions even though she was heavily booked at the time. I tend to be extremely nervous at a doctor's office and her empathy put me at ease. I don't have the words to fully describe my gratitude for her humanity and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional doctor and person.
New patient, but want to share my experience in case it helps other women. I had an awful pap test with another physician; got gouged/scraped, painful, bled, sore for days. Dr. Matar on the other hand was so kind and patient. I didn't mention my bad pap, but she could see I was anxious, completely paused, let me calm down, and instead of trying to distract me or condescending, she described each step & showed me the tools so I wouldn't be surprised. Most compassionate doc I've been to.
Dr. Matar is one of the warmest doctors I have met in my life. She is very caring, always paying attention to little details. It is a true pleasure to be her patient. She is also the PCP for my wife and my 1 year old baby, and they are always beyond satisfied with the care she provides. Dr. Matar is a true professional.
