My dad has been in the hospital since 12/30/20 and I can’t get a doctor to call me back to let me know what’s going on. I’d be in the hospital with him but I’m not allowed due to the hospital’s Covid rules for visitation. How am I to get an update even after leaving numerous messages with nurses??

I came in to be treated for pneumonia symptoms a few days after I tested positive for COVID. I had a bad cough, tightness in my chest, and a hard time catching my breath. The doctor basically said there’s nothing he can do as I am overall healthy, with no pre existing conditions. He said this is part of COVID and I have to let it take its course. I said I’m sure I have a pneumonia and steroids and/or an inhaler will help me with my breathing. He said they won’t work you just have to wait it out. A day later I went to Express... read more
It has to be the filthiest ER waiting room. I have been here since 4:30 pm. Waiting while my side is killing me. Throw up pans left on the waiting room floor!
The proficiency in the clinic to keep minimum patients in the clinic at one time was excellent. It made me feel safe with covid concerns. The experience was also very timely. I will be sure to return when needed.

After sitting in the Emergency for 6 hours and to not be seen by a doctor is in humane. They have people sitting around like waiting ducks. If covid is the main concern it should be a unit in place, so those that come to the emergency have the opportunity to be seen. I have never experienced something like this 6 hours later and I'm still not sure what is wrong. They seriously need to come up with a better plan of action.
