I had a mild to medium tremor but it was getting worse. I was a patient of Dr. Thomas for two years and I never got a straight diagnosis. Pre-Parkinsons? There's an MRI exam that can help with that. She didn't order it. But she told me I would have a tremor for the rest of my life. She was wrong. I no longer have a tremor, it was an interaction with another medication I was taking. And her notes from my visits included one that said that I might be having a medication interaction, and even named the med. Why didn't she explo... read more
SHE HAS BEEN MY SON'S DOCTOR FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS AND ALL SHE HAS DONE WAS PUSH MORE AND MORE MEDS ON HIM AND STRIPPED HIM OF HIS LICENSE. SHE DOESN'T EVEN TAKE THE TIME OUT TO GET TO KNOW HIM. SHE BRUSHES HIM OFF OF ALL OF HIS NEEDS AND CONCERNS. THIS IS SOOOOO SAD AND THE ATTITUDE THAT SHE SHOWS HER PATIENTS IS SICKENING. IF I COULD GIVE HER ZERO STARS I WOULD. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER TO MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS. PATIENCE IS KEY!!!! AND THESE REVIEWS CANNOT BE TRUE... BUT THIS ONE IS....
Dr. Thomas is a highly trained specialist, she is competent and caring. She listens, and acts in patients' best interests, as all good doctors do. I highly recommend her. I worked with her as a team member, I described my condition, she looked for a solution, and I complied with it. Reviewers should be cautious and understand that women in STEM face gender bias. Keep it in mind If you read an anonymous 1 star acidic review. Thank you Dr. Thomas.
Dr.Thomas was extremely rude, nasty, uncaring, and had terrible bedside manner. A family member saw her twice and she was very nasty both times. Instead of taking time to listen to my family members symptoms and complaints, she pretty much dismissed her symptoms like they were nothing. She spent more time worrying about what over the counter medications she was taking then about how she could help my family member. She rudely treated the both of us for no reason. Do not go to Dr. Thomas if you are looking for someone to actu... read more
She is competent in her knowledge and expertise, that being said her bedside manner, is definitely an opportunity. Having never seen her, and being a new patient, I didn't realize that by calling her , Carol instead of Dr Thomas, I'd attempted an act of treason " the response of we are not doing this, and you will call me Dr."Was, in my opinion wildly inappropriate. A polite I'd prefer if you called me Dr, would have left a much better impression. Hoping future visits are better.
I have had three visits with Dr. Thomas in three months. She is extremely competant, knowledgeable, and above all, kind and compassionate.
Thought she was excellent and spent a lot of time with me.
Carole Thomas is very nasty and rude. I will not even call her a doctor. She didn't listen to anything I was saying and showed no interest either. I waited a month for this appointment and left within five minutes of our meeting.
