A private pay Dr. is well worth it if ultimately a complicated medical condition is improved. But Dr. Brown will make continuous appointments and do very little beyond the basics. She appears to listen, and then later you find out she doesn't remember much of anything including important symptoms already discussed. This is especially difficult when she is charging hundreds of dollars per appointment. Maybe she was a good doctor some years ago, but currently with her apparent memory problems it is not worth the private pay.

Always had a good experience every time I've had to visit. Dr. Brown is very knowledgeable on a lot of different things, and helped me out when I needed it.

Dr Brown gave me lots of time. She went through my blood work piece by piece. She did a great job explaining why I felt the way I do. She showed me that my main issues my thyroid. Now that I've gotten that under control, I'm finally sleeping. Thanks Dr Brown.

I was a patient for years, and paid a lot of money out pocket. Everything was fine until I asked for an increase in a medication she prescribed to me for years. She increased it per my request. Having stressful things going on in my life, I ran out. When I had a problem and ran out, she put my life at risk by stopping the prescription. Her office staff kept on saying that Walgreens had a refill, and they did not. In other words if you have a problem that she contributed to, you are done. My last visit was over $500.
