I’ve been seeing Dr. Pearman for 29 years, and I truly can’t imagine having another GYN. She delivered both of my babies and has been there for every stage of my life since. She is not only a highly skilled and knowledgeable doctor but also someone who genuinely cares for her patients. Once you get to know her, you’ll find she has a wonderful sense of humor that puts you at ease. I feel grateful to have had her as my doctor for nearly three decades, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
I don't feel like typing the whole story, but short of the long is I would not recommend going to her for labor and delivery. I saw her for the last 10 weeks of my pregnancy and at every appointment never spent more than 5 minutes with me. I was high risk from previous preeclampsia and current hypothyroidism. Come the day of delivery (her office is in the hospital and I had been there about 3 hours already) she arrived as I had been doing little pushes for about 10-15 minutes. She ruined my life. Almost killed me. I let her induce me because she was going to be on vacation on my daughters due date. What kind of monster induces a baby for no other reason than to make sure she can bill for delivery? It was a horrible, dry, painful birth. I couldn't move for 23 hrs! She never once came to check on me even though her office was in the hospital. She literally came as my daughter was crowning and asked me if I wanted to pull her out.
