Drove several miles for scheduled appt. with Dr. Teunis. Pre conference interview with her tech said she saw patience with upper extremity problems. Dr. Tuenis refused to see me even though I had numbness in both hands.
. I don't think I would have ever been able to play to the level that I previously played at before the car accident (and breaking my wrist) without the unbelievable care of Dr. Teunis. She actually listened to me and didn't just try to get a big paycheck and took a very conservative route and has told me that I will probably experience some pain in my left wrist for about 6 months as the wrist grows stronger but after that she said it will be like it never happened. I was referred to Dr. Teunis when I cut 80% of my tricep tendon. The NP called her on her personal cell on a Sunday afternoon to see when she could see me. I was instructed to be at her office around 9:00am Monday morning. She saw me right away and said I needed surgery to repair the tendon or risk tearing it all the way. She sent me directly to Memorial Hermann Surgarland to be admitted. Early that afternoon, 1:00 or so, I was in the OR and she fixed me right up. Thank you Dr. Teunis
