*Update: I was charged another office visit because I answered a question Dr Shea asked me. When I questioned the charge that is what the staff said. I answered a question that was not “in scope”. Aren’t doctors our health care advocates? I sent a letter per what another office staff member said and never heard a word back. If I could give zero stars I would. Zero bedside manner, actually suggested that my mother should have worn pants to the appointment rather than a dress, because it would’ve been easier for her to examine her that way , even though she has a spinal fracture and it was nearly impossible to even get her to the appointment, no less put her in pants. More to come this person should not have a five star rating.
If I could give Dr. Shea 20 stars, I would! She truly saved my life. After being ill for months, with drastic weight loss, vomiting and repeated ER visits at Newton and Chilton with no answers, I was referred to Dr. Shea by the equally amazing Dr. Michael Lindy. During my 2nd visit, Dr. Shea immediately recognized the severity of my condition and called an ambulance to take me directly from her office to the hospital. That trip saved my life.
