80 y/o male with double groin hernia surgery. Only supplied 2 days worth of pain meds after surgery. Prior to surgery, my surgery date was moved twice at the last minute with no explanation. Surgery day arrival time was 8am but I was forced to wait until 4pm to get the procedure.

Dr.Gooden is a skilled surgeon with a caring heart. I was very aprehensive about having surgery and heard all the gossip & rumors about the medical care here! And haven't had to have any surgical procedures in this state and let Dr.Gooden know my fears the very first visit, if a Dr was going to be rude and arrogant to a patient I was His opportunity! But he was kind, reassuring, caring & explained everything! He is the only Surgeon who will ever operate on me! His staff is excellent just as he!
Dr Gooden has always been kind and explains everything in layman's terms. He is not arrogant as I saw in another review. He is very kind and treats me like in a person not just a numbered patient!!!! His staff is awesome as well and if I have any problems and call his office I get a quick callback with what I should do. His nurses r very sweet and don't act like alot of nurses. Dr Goodens nurses take pride in their work and truly care about their patients. I would 100% recommend Dr. Gooden!!
Fatuous, arrogant and rude.
Does good routine surgery, but not a guy who cares once he's paid. He and his staff are obtuse and dismissive, and don't care much about you once the check has cleared. If you have an ongoing surgical issue, look elsewhere. If you don't, grit your teeth and prepare to deal with perhaps the most obnoxious clinical staff you'll ever know.
