I met with my new MDVIP doctor for the first time on February 19, 2025. Making the appointment was easy and the staff member, Carmen, was very nice and professional. As soon as I finished filling out the NEW Patient paperwork,, I was taken into the exam room. The nurse was very nice taking my blood pressure. This is the first time I have had my blood pressure taken more than once in a doctor's office. The nurse/assistant took my pressure FOUR times at 2-minute intervals, both sitting and standing. As a DDS in Fremont for over 30+ years, I am plugged into the medical community. You will not find a more thorough, knowledgeable & "out of the box" physician. Dr. Carlson has the best interpersonal skills, makes you feel comfortable and is a genuine human being. Carmen and the rest of the staff mirror Dr. Carlson. If you need a physician Dr. Carlson is the man to see!
Take-away from my initial meeting with Dr Carlson is very positive. He seems to be brighter than average and very personable. He had actually reviewed notes from my previous doctor and had meaningful questions and comments. He is sincere, warm, and not at all condescending or hurried as some physicians can be. Office staff also very good. My only note for improvement: get a new profile picture! You are much better looking and more fit than the photo!
Basically saved my life.
If you need a Cardiologist you won't find a better one. I have been his patient for several years and have never had a complaint. He takes his time, listens, and not only gives good advice but explains his reasoning. He goes above and beyond to advocate for his patients with insurance carriers.
