This was by far the worst experience with a medical professional I ever had and I thought I already had one with another Urologist who was leaving me alone in the room after I had a severe reaction. What kind of doctor refers you back to your primary and rules out "any issue associated with the urinary tract " before having all the information and test results first? The sonogram picked up something that 8x9x5 cm in my right kidney and i am scheduled for a CT scan in a few days. Could whatever it is be causing back pain? Not according to Dr. Blair. Having a prostate biopsy is painful and simple torture. Somehow, Dr. Blair, sensing my fear, flipped the script. It wasn’t filled with drama. He called me in, said let’s get going. He asked me about music preference. He popped on Dylan, carried on a conversation and proceeded with the biopsy. Somehow, he took the drama and anxiety away.
