So I was exposed to Hand Foot and Mouth disease by my daughter and stayed home missing my appointment. I called after 8 am (my appointment was at 7am) and told the nurse why I missed my appointment, and all she was concerned with was charging me for my " missed appointment " fee. I had questions and fears of traveling for Thanksgiving and not wanting to possibly spread the virus to family. She responded by saying that it's "your personal choice to travel."
