Pickett Heart Clinic was great! We took my 5 year old to the Pickett Heart Clinic recently and they couldn't have been nicer to him and to us. They don't usually deal with patient so young but both the receptionish and the nurse were very patient and sweet to my child. The doctor took a few minutes to get to know my child before examining him and was very careful to make sure he knew what was going to happen. Best doctor in East Texas I have been seeing Dr. Pickett and staff for about six or seven years; and I would not trade them for all the tea in China. All of the staff there are very sweet, kind, caring, and concerned for each one of their patients. They are not afraid to tell you anything; and they are not afraid to be up-front honest with us. Avoid at all cost! My family physician sent me to Dr. Pickett for a stress test since I am over 50 years of age. The doctor came in the room and kept his back to me the whole time. He kept asking me the same questions over and over again and would not listen to anything I was saying. He ended up stopping the stress test abruptly and said I told him to stop it, which I did not.
