Doctor Bowen is an excellent doctor.
My family and I have been going to Dr. Bowen for about 20 years. His bedside manner is good, he listens and best of all, if he discovers something that needs a specialist's attention he refers right away. My sister and her family love him and now that my parents live in T-Town the also are patients and they like him as well.
Dr. Bowen has treated me, my husband, and all 6 of our boys. He is always attentive and works on finding the diagnosis. When the diagnosis needs a specialist he is always right there and sends us to the correct specialist. We love Dr. Bowen!!
I have been extremely satisfied with Dr. Bowen over a ten-year period. He is very professional, competent and knowledgable. I have taken my entire family to see him.
I have been a patient of Dr Bowen for over 15 years. I highly recommend him to anyone! I can call and get an appointment the same day or the next day. He never makes you feel like you are being rushed and always makes you feel comfortable.Their billing department is wonderful. You will never receive a bill after paying your copay. They have their own lab and x-ray departments. The staff are very pleasant. The best doctor!!
This practice is a money machine. I tried Dr. Bowen and gave him additional chances in case he was just having a bad day. It only got worse. They will make you wait almost an hour and then rush through your appointment as if there is a timer running. Dr. Bowen does not seem to care, if he is listening, he is forgetting to respond. He leaves the room and that is that, he does not say goodbye. I guess time is up. Strange and awkward.
When I arrived all 3 receptions were on the phone. None of them acknowledged me. After about 5 min. one of them opened the window. Every pt. that came in waited also. The nurse seemed nice enough. But DR. Bowen was very impersonal and never really spoke to me nor addressed any of the questions I asked him. I was in the room less than 10 min. When I was giving blood it took 5 people and 4 sticks to finally get enough blood. NO I won't be going back to FAMILY MEDICAL GROUP.
Great when he first became a doctor and we first started going to him. Only wants to address no more than 3 things per visit - our level of trust has droppped.
