I had extensive back surgery before Christmas. I feel so much better. Dr. Brett Schlika was the surgeon. I highly recommend him.
I love Dr. Brett but his medical assistant is the worse of the worse. Her follow up is HORRIBLE and she’s extremely RUDE! It’s unfortunate because he is a good surgeon. Just imagine if the rest of his staff was as half as good as him.
I went to Dr. Schlifka for a second opinion about my carpal tunnel issue. I told him the first doctor I saw highly recommended surgery. He said he did not...my problem was too minor. I didn't listen to him, got the surgery from the first doctor and now for the rest of my life I'm going to have constant pain in my left elbow. The operation was a disaster.
I have known many people that have had extensive back surgeries over the years. I would have to say 95% of those individuals were in worse condition after than they were prior to surgery. Many have required 2-3 follow-up procedures with small to no impact. Dr. Schlifka not only kept me informed step by step. But for the first time in 40yrs, I am virtually pain free. I am very greatful he took on my case and did a fantastic job. I owe you a dept of gratitude and thanks.
The office staff is overwhelmed and confused. I have been trying to reach Michelle to schedule a procedure, I have received one call from her and I've called multiple times only to get her voice mail. If I call the office they transfer me to Michelles voice mail without listening to me regarding her not calling back. I gave up ages ago and happily discovered my pain management office now had someone to remove my useless spinal cord stimulator. Go elsewhere please.
