If I had to go through this journey again, I would with Dr. Roy ONLY! His knowledge, bedside mannerism and patience made the most traumatic moments easy. I and my family thanks Dr.Roy for all that he’s done by given me another chance at living.
When I first visited Dr. Roy, I felt much better about having a gastric bypass. His staff was professional and kind. Dr. Roy explained the procedure thoroughly and answered my questions. I was very satisfied with this visit and very comfortable with Dr. Roy doing my surgery.
Dr. Roy performed laparoscopic robotic surgery involving bi-lateral inguinal hernia. First appointment he explained the procedure after the examination, confirming the need for surgery. He took the time to answer all of my questions...not rushed. His office set up contact with WakeMed Raleigh who called me following day to set up day and time for surgery. Dr. Roy was part of a team of doctors that saved my life last year. He is direct and intelligent, and I trust his perspective of the situation because he is practical.
He explained everything with my procedure, he listened to me and he was very gentle when removing the staples, I didn't feel a thing. Best Doctor ever.
Dr. Roy performed my abdominal hernia and the results are fantastic. Not only did he close the incision in a way that will seemingly leave an undetectable scar, but I (personally) had zero pain and zero complications. Very impressed and grateful.
