I had a hernia surgery and gall bladder surgery with Dr. Haygood. He’s very compassionate and is very knowledgeable about his work. Both were outpatient surgeries with minimal recovery time.

Dr Hagood has performed 3 surgeries on me. All were umbilical hernias. The multiple surgeries were due to weak connective tissue and it took multiple surgeries to repair the damage. Dr Hagood is a compassionate and very knowledgeable surgeon, and is a faith-based doctor. He genuinely cares for his patients, listens well and explains in detail the nature of the problem(s) and the corrective action(s) to be taken. No one wants surgery, but if needed, Dr Hagood is outstanding! I highly recommend him for general surgery issues.

I would like to enthusiastically endorse Dr. Hagood. I had bilateral hernia surgery and was completely satisfied with the surgery and post-surgery recovery. Dr. Hagood explained in considerable detail the type of surgery that would be done, and what the recovery would be like. Because of travel plans that couldn't be changed. Dr. Hagood found a way to do my surgery the very next day after my visit to his office. Dr. Hagood and his staff are very caring and patient oriented.

I don't ever write reviews about doctors. I think how people react or respond all depending on the different situations. With past few Dr. visits. I realized it can be very helpful to others if I just take few minutes to write down our own experiences. Dr. Hagood is genuine and caring. He took the time to explain and answer questions. If you are searching a good doctor. Make a appointment, give yourself a chance to visit with him. You will be happy with that decision.

Dr. Hagood did an emergency appendectomy on me in which cancer was found we considered other options but decided to stay with Dr. Hagood to do my colon surgery and I could not be happier. He is an outstanding surgeon and doctor! He took the time to discuss the surgery and all of my options he truly cares about his patients and because of him I am cancer free and wouldn't consider going anywhere else again if I ever needed surgery again. You can't go wrong with Dr. Hagood or his staff!

Dr. Hagood saved my husband's life! He and his colleague, Dr. Taylor, performed an emergency surgery on my husband for a spleen aneurysm 4 years ago. Had it not been for his prompt action and devine intervention, my husband would not be here. Dr. Hagood and his staff were always prompt and precise in taking care of my husband. He even removed his gall bladder a couple of years ago. I have highly recommended him to friends and hope he's always available when we need a general surgeon.
