I didn’t pay attention to the negative reviews here and managed to get an appointment with Dr. Boon Ham within 3 days – I’m so glad I did. He is very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. My son, who normally hates hospitals and doctors, actually liked a doctor for the first time. I don’t understand what some people expect when leaving bad reviews. If you’re lucky to get an appointment, don’t be late – arrive early so you don’t put the doctor or other patients in a difficult position.

Dr Ham was highly recommended by the GP, so we decided to visit him despite being hesitant after reading the negative reviews here. Unfortunately, the reviews were spot on - he was rude, arrogant, dismissive, and completely, utterly unhelpful. Complete waste of $370.

Very disappointing experience especially for my young daughter. Very dismissive of anything I said, and did not offer any explanations or reassurance. Spent a very basic 2mins maximum assessing her to give his opinion. Would not return. Was not an enjoyable, positive or informative appointment at all. Had to book an appointment with another specialist to feel heard and informed.

So here the thing, we took my son who is 4 for his eye examination, we were only 5mins late at the clinic, when we approached the receptionist she started complaining about us being 5 min late and that the doctor was waiting so long (just to make it clear his whole clinic was empty not a single patient was there) Then after around 15 mins of waiting we were called inside. He called my son and made him sit on my Husband’s lap for checking his eye and used An ADULT eye screen testing method for a child who is 4 years old!! Ho... read more

Dr Boon Ham has been treating my mother Sandy for the last nine years, after moving to Perth from the Uk we were told that nothing more could be done for her sight, Dr Ham as worked continually to treat her sight with great success not only allowing her to keep her sight but to indeed improve it, thankyou Dr Ham from the bottom of my heart.
