I was scared the death to have my colon surgery! I almost back out! Thank god he talked me out of it! He is the most compassionate caring surgeon In the Geisinger system!♥️I would definitely highly recommend him to anyone faced with colon surgery♥️
I had stage 3 colon cancer and my step daughter is a RN and wkd with Dr Protyniak she had called him and explained what I was told. Therefore with out hesitation an appt was given for me to have a consult. I was getting my records sent to him to review and copies of disc so he can see fir him self and with his team. Also I had gone for another colonoscopy so he new exactly where cancer was. Dr. Protyniak is intelligent, compassionate, thorough, and thoughtful. I have had several G.I. surgeons and doctors in the past but Dr. Protyniak is by far the one I trust the most. I feel so fortunate to have been referred to him as a patient and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a G.I. surgeon.
