Dr. Liu’s credentials look great but experience with her has demonstrated that she does not live up to them. She lacks understanding of the predictive value of diagnostic studies that she orders. However it appears that she relies heavily on these tests for treatment and diagnostic purposes. Although four years out of clinical training she lacks clinical acumen. Excellent physician, with a cheerful, energetic and non- patronizing demeanor. Great team, including the nurse, anestheseologist and support staff. Went to her via referral and I would recommend,
One of the worst experiences with a doctor I ever had. She doesn’t listen to patients and does not care what sort of pain you're in. She also improperly orders excessive and EXPENSIVE tests. She forced me to undergo a test, even though I asked her why it was necessary and thought I probably didn’t need it (I was right!) that cost thousands of dollars and had nothing to do with my diagnosis. Dr. Fung Liu is wonderful, but the office staff and phones are awful. Medication prescribed one month ago, still don't have authorization for it. No one answers the phones, need to leave voice mail, but no one returns calls. Phone system cuts you off frequently. Finding another practice because this is unacceptable. If I leave a message for the doctor, that isn't returned either, but I suspect that the doctor never gets the message.
Dr Liu is the best. She made me feel so comfortable. Always available via msg. Very knowledgable and professional. I'm so glad I found her!
