I saw Dr. Powell at an Urgent Care center in Spokane and he diagnosed my issue immediately. He was friendly, professional and prompt. Gave me excellent information and follow up instructions. Felt lucky to see such an experienced provider.
This doctor makes a mockery of the entire medical practice and brings disrepute to Mt. Auburn Hospital. On two separate occasions in the last three years I've had the misfortune of being assigned to him for relatively simple, treatable issues. The first time I was seen for an ear infection, which this "doctor" FAILED TO RECOGNIZE AS SUCH and smugly suggested that I put olive oil in it, when I was clearly in pain. Powell Blake only cares about raking in money and nothing else. Walked-in at Mt. Auburn Hospital for a condition that I've been having (say: ConditionX). The nurse warned me that the Dr. Powell cannot prescribe any medications for ConditionX. I said, it's ok, I just need to have a few questions answered & clear my doubts about whether or not I have ConditionX or not to begin with.
