They are strict about not giving medication without seeing you. They are also strict about doing regular bloodwork for medications. Some see this as a money grab, I find it prudent. He has always been willing to listen to me and both of my elderly parents (who require more time and patience) and address concerns.

Front office staff very friendly & helpful. I've seen Dr. Butterfield, he made sure all my aquestions were answered. He went over all my stats after I had my bloodwork done.

Options Medial-Blair Butterfield-your best “option” is to stay away from this place! Front office staff is rude. I was unable to go to an appointment that the doctor set up so I needed to reschedule. When I talked to Alishia at the desk and explained to her I needed to reschedule her comment back was “whatever-I don’t care”. I went to the office to get my blood work done then to the pharmacy to get a prescription and was told by the pharmacy that the prescription was denied by the doctors office. I called the doctors office ... read more

He will only see you for one prob at a time! I went in for a migraine appt, saw a PA & had extremely swollen and painful feet & she said to come back & see Dr. B. So it took 2 wks to get it to see him. THEN when I finally saw him he only saw me about another prob I was having which was probably related & told me to come back! He also NEVER listens to your heart or really looks at your eyes or anything. What if I have a heart issue...which is what I was concerned about. Or why didnt he order some bloodwork? So the following w... read more

Third visit in three years. Follow up after Emergency visit. He thoroughly reviewed my history and immediate medical complaint. He spoke as an equal, offered recommended remedy with Ibuprofen double dose, 3/day for 4 days; suggesting the symptom was result of inflammation. 4 days later all symptoms gone, life is good, and 3 months out now and no relapse. Thanks Dr. Butterfield.

Dr. Butterfield is a good doctor but his business practices are absolutely the worst. If you want to see him for more than one ailment in one visit forget about it. ( Say you have high blood pressure and have a thyroid disease. he will only see your for one). They make you come back and pay a second copay! Ever think the two problems might be related? I have been bringing my family in to him for years and his new office management and their policies have ruined it for me. I will NOT be back.

Doesn't talk to patients, carries on a conversation with his computer. Pills, and more pills is his answer to everything. Won't write reports, notes for the patient dealing with insurance/disability companies. Physician Assistants are right out school, and turnover rate for them is high.

Dr Butterfield has no compassion and should not be practicing medicine as he is completely inept at his profession. He thrives on scheduling appointments to get his copay but not to get to know his patients needs and health options. Instead he wants his patients to go to every specialist imaginable even though he could eliminate some by actually practicing the medicine he claims to have gone through school for. He is egotistical and you have to do as he says or he condemns you to death.

Dr B is the first pcp I have ever encountered that actually spends time with his patients, asking questions, searching to investigate the issue and/or medical past, and seems to genuinely care to cure the problem. Most dr just throw meds at me and treat symptoms. Not him! He actually works hard to uncover the underlying problem that is causing the symptoms and works hard to cure/solve that problem. I appreciate him offering various options for treatment, which sometimes include natural remedies.
