I recently had a virtual visit with Dr Lieu which went very poorly. He was very confrontational on just about anything I had to say. I made the appoinment for a few skin issues, and had some prescriptions I was hoping to get instead of having to go in person for an appointment. He seemed very annoyed about what I believed the issue was and ended up telling me to just go in person to a doctor since he couldn't really see my skin. Dr. Lieu is an amazing doctor. My health has greatly improved since seeing him. I am almost 50 and my blood work looks better than when I was in my 30s. He listens and cares. His nurse is really great as well.
I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Lieu, and unfortunately, it was an extremely disappointing experience. From the outset, Dr. Lieu displayed a dismissive attitude and lacked both compassion and empathy. He consistently interrupted me, making it difficult to explain my concerns. The visit felt rushed, lasting a mere 4 minutes and 23 seconds, which gave me the impression that my concerns were not taken seriously.
