He cancelled one of my labs that he ordered 2 days prior to my appointment even though it was elevated 6 months earlier, he could not give me the criteria for Light chain MGUS, he stated that he thought that Mayo Clinic had already diagnosed me with MGUS and same day told me that I do not have MGUS but then sends a referral to my primary for a new Hematologist closer to home and puts my diagnosis as MGUS, as soon as I asked what the criteria was for MGUS he stated don't you live close to Tulsa and did not answer my question ... read more
I've been very impressed with Dr. Ahmad since my diagnosis in early 2024. He's obviously very knowledgeable, easy to visit with, and is very encouraging. I've asked a number of questions and he always answers thoroughly and clearly. My family doctor recommended Dr. Ahmad and I'm glad she did. I trust his judgement and have no complaints. This cancer journey has actually been not nearly as bad as I was expecting thanks to all of the great people I've met at Integris Southwest.
