Dr Patel saved my father’s life when he was in the hospital. My father’s case was a complex one. Dr Patel was appropriately concerned, incredibly compassionate, and the most competent of all the many many specialists who treated my Dad. He fielded all of our questions, checked in on my father daily, and had none of the superciliousness that frequently infects someone with an M.D. Frankly, I did not think doctors like this still roamed the earth. We are so grateful for his extraordinary care.
Dr Patel was absolutely wonderful when I was recently at PAM Rehab in Nokomis. I was there for over two weeks and Dr Patel would stop by almost daily providing updates that I should be aware of. Great personality also. I recently relocated from Palm Beach County and plan to switch to Dr Patel.
I had to wait 3 months for my initial appointment with this doctor and I had worsening symptoms of chronic kidney disease stage 3a. My initial visit was less than 5 minutes and it did not include medication review past medical history and no physical exam. This is below the standards of care and if I'm not seeing before my symptoms get any worse which they are lately this could be a medical malpractice lawsuit. All attempts to followup with doctor were ignored. Over 90 days out for followup. Pathetic, unprofessional, borderline malpractice. Pathetic.
