My father had a stroke. After being in the ER at Mt. Carmel in Grove City for 20 hrs, Mr. Patel comes in. My dad asked if he was going to get a room. He had been on a cot, without a bathroom and on oxygen attached to a wall with a hose that could not reach the bathroom down the hall. Mr. Patel said he had slept on these beds during residency and they weren’t that bad. I don’t think he had suffered from a stroke nor was he on oxygen.
