Dr.Pulla is a very kind knowledgeable Dr. She listens to her patients & works with them. She does not talk down to her pts but talks with them. You may wait a bit at your appt but no more than any other drs office. Her office staff can be quite abrupt and rude but that does not reflect on the care you will be given by the Dr.I would and will recommend Dr. Pulla to all my friends and family!
This doctor is an excellent doctor.The reason why you might wait a few extra minutes is because she does not rush you and when you get in for your appointment you will also receive her undivided attention.I started going to Dr.B.Pulla because my sister told me what a great doctor she was and I agree.She is the best doctor I have ever had.She has been on top of every medical problem I have had.At times it was side effects of medications and because she was on top of all my medications she caught it right away.I have referred ... read more
I called Dr Pulla's office on 9/18 to be seen for a problem I was having. The receptionist very bluntly told me they couldn't help me because Dr Pulla was going on vacation tomorrow and didn't have anyone covering for her. What kind of Dr just abandons her patients with no plans for how they should receive care in her absence?? She said the Dr could not see me for a month at least. I said I was having a problem and didn't know what to do. The receptionist simply replied that they couldn't help me.
Dr. Pulla does not listen to what her patients tell her when they are in distress or pain. She does not listen to caregivers who attempt to advocate for their clients when the client is unable to verbalize their concerns. She is very abrupt with her patients and is always running late during appointments. Her bedside manner is poor at best.
One hour waits in the waiting room are normal. Then another wait in the exam room. Billing questions are not answered until my insurance calls the office. I have received little medical assistance, mostly referrals, and some referrals for expensive tests. I saw an ad for low-cost bloodwork from Dr. Pulla, but I had high charges (because I have insurance?) there is one great staff member, and there seems to be a high turnover in the office staff.
I have seen her once for a physical. The wait time was ridiculous, especially since I could see her chatting with several drug reps while I was waiting. They were clearly not busy, I have no clue why I had to wait over an hour. I never got the results of my blood work, several months later I still have no clue if they were normal or not. I dropped off a form to be filled out two weeks ago, and it still isn't done. I can't even get an answer from the office as to when it will be done. This doctor is on the list for doctors who take medicaid, yet when you call to see if she is accepting new patients they say she is not accepting medicaid. I asked why and the person on the phone said because the doctor said she doesn't want anymore medicaid patients since medicaid doesn't pay her as much for her services as the other insurance companies!!!! That's a messed up doctor if you ask me!!!!
