Went to her for a 2nd loop excision , didn’t wait until I was numb. Assured me my cervix had no nerve ending and the cut sending my pain through the roof. Went home and cried for hours. Do not recommend!
Super happy with Dr Bernadette. She worked around my schedule knowing I’m out of town. Super informative and reassuring, and so far everything is running smoothly.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I Completely agree with previous comments. I had an incredibly stressful ordeal with Dr Bernadette McElhinney. Unprofessional, cold, dismissive, with no care for post operative concerns. When post operative complications arose after multiple hospital visits to Charlie’s and king Edward’s I was told I needed to see my Gynaecologist ASAP- I called Woom and they could not fit me in for 4 months. Unprofessional. 1. Miserable staff vibe. while waiting, can hear reception staff giving results out to patients on the phone. 2. A second person appeared during an exam un announced (3. most painful exam by a doctor). 4. Gave wrong results (potentially life threatening) 5. Did not follow through on sending a referral, even after another phone call and email request. 6. Money hungry, referred to other team members unnecessarily, got $1k out of me. 6. “Told me off” for not going up to receptionist after first doc, even tho rec... read more
