This place is something else. Dr. Wants to put me on levothyroxine I tell him no I tell him I want Armor medicine Walgreens calls me and tells me it needs doctor approval or prior approval I call and they said no that it's either levothyrixine. since when do the patients not get their choice of medicine. I have yet to hear from anyone there to accommodate my request. Not to mention the ladies who answer their phones are rude!!! I think I need to find another Dr.
I have had an issue with my trachea for over 5 years. It was initially taken care of in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The care I have received with Dr. Westbrook and his team have been fantastic and as good as or better than SD. He is very good at explaining everything pre and post surgery. I would recommend him to friends and family.
Our experience with Dr. Westbrook’s office was very disappointing. The care did not feel as child-centered as I expected. As the parent of a medically complex child, I wanted the conversation to focus on whether surgery was truly necessary and appropriate. Instead, it felt like the main deciding factor was whether insurance would pay. The office also had very long wait times. Got referees by my son’s pediatrician. Never got to see the doctor as I was never able to set my appointment. Waited about a week and a half and there was something not spelled right on the order so no appointment was given. I have an 8 month baby suffering with ear infection and no one does anything to check him out. I wasn’t even allowed to take the referral myself to set the appointment because “it had to be faxed” even though I had the physical copy.
Worst experience ever! The receptionist are so rude! Made it so difficult to make an appointment told me it was my job to send and fax my medical records, wouldn’t give me appointment till my doctor had to call them and do it, after all that they said I can’t get appointment till a $50 deposit and they couldn’t even tell me when I would get one till I made the payment.
